Hi guys (& girls of course),

There has been mention made in the past about lupus organisations needing certain names or celebrities to further our cause for awareness or research.

One of the leaders in funding lupus research is the ALR - The Alliance for Lupus Research. 

Based in New York, they fund research worldwide and The Board of Directors pay all operating costs so all donations and funds go directly to research.

There aren't many organisations who have actors such as Michael Douglas or even Bill Clinton promoting their/our cause and a search for a cure.
